Whose wife?

McIlwraith's brothers lived in Australia: Thomas in Brisbane[1], and John in Melbourne.[2] John acted as the firm's Melbourne agent for the first three years.

Mary Pierson, his wife was from Goathland, North Yorkshire - St Mary's church, Goathland has several plaques dedicated to their memory & that of their child - who died young in Australia.[citation needed]

Whose wife?

John? Perhaps???. John's wife was "Mary, née Whannell (d.1915), three daughters and three sons".

Thomas? No. "Thomas retained close relations with John, invested £3000 in John's business and on 6 June 1863 married Margaret Whannell, sister of John's wife. In 1871 she visited Merivale with her two daughters but soon returned to Melbourne for the birth of a third. sent her to Scotland. Her daughters, Jessie (b.1866) and Mary (b.1868), went to expensive boarding schools in Edinburgh, but Blanche (b.1872) lived with her mother. She died at Maxwelltown, Dumfriesshire, Scotland on 14 October 1877. His second wife Harriette Ann, née Mosman, whom he had married in 1879, was Palmer's sister-in-law; she survived him with a fourth legitimate daughter born in 1881.

Andrew? No. "On 30 November 1871 at Staveley, Derbyshire, England, he married Mabel Eliza Stephenson, daughter of an engineer James Campbell. His family life had been unhappy. His first marriage ended in separation and his second, to an American, Holte Leichenburgh, in 1895, also failed. Two sons died in the South African War and a third also predeceased him. Survived by two daughters from his first marriage and another from his second"

McEacharn? Perhaps???: "On 10 January 1878 McEacharn married Anne Peirson, a landowner, in the parish church, Pickering, Yorkshire. After her death in December 1878 ... "
