Newhouse family

[edit]

The article should maybe leave a note on the role of the Newhouse family in the press industry, and how it might sometimes use its influence on the media it owns. Another interesting point would be a sentence or two on the role of the billionnaire family in the philanthropic causes of the American Jewish community. Error?

[edit]

"S.I. Newhouse started the run-up in auction prices for works by Andy Warhol when he purchased "Orange Marilyn" (1964) for $17.3 million from Sotheby's New York on May 14, 1998."

Was he not deceased in 1998? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.217.140.115 (talk) 12:00, 11 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
