R-1820 Twin Wasp ?

[edit]

Can someone please verify this Information ? Afaik the 1820 was the Cyclone, the Twin Wasp was the R-1830, not the R-1820. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.132.159.169 (talk) 14:12, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page name

[edit]

The USAAC was a minor operator - 5! yet the page uses their designation and the USAAC and Brazilians (with 26) are listed under major operators in the infobox while the Chinese (107), Turks (40) and Russians (32) all used more but are ignored. NiD.29 (talk) 00:30, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vultee YA-19Vultee V-11Vultee V-11 was the primary designation - YA-19 applies to only 7 aircraft, the V-11 designation to 146 aircraft, including those 7.NiD.29 (talk) 00:37, 7 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Move - as stated, YA-19 designnation only applied to seven aircraft that saw very limited service. V-11 designation covers a much larger number of aircraft, some of which saw much more significant service than the seven USAAF examples.Nigel Ish (talk) 17:04, 16 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
