The Classist Teachers Coordination (Spanish: Coordinadora Clasista Magisterial, CCM) was a Peruvian organization formed by communist insurgents of the Communist Party of Peru-Shining Path (PCP-SL).[1][2][3] Its goal was to usurp the influence of the Single Union of Education Workers of Peru (SUTEP), which held ties to one of the Shining Path's political rivals, Red Fatherland (PCP-PR). The CCM was to be purposed as a unification of Peru's teachers to serve as both dissemination and recruitment for the Shining Path's violent takeover of the country.[4]
