A new start?

Hi Yvo2013,

Thank you for your help in improving Wikipedia. The gay marriage issue is an important and controversial subject, and I think many MP's articles will benefit from adding information on this issue. However, when you add very brief information from a pressure group (Stonewall) to many articles, it can appear as if you are promoting just one cause, and not keeping the article neutral. Wikipedia must always be neutral.

Would you mind looking at how the Stephen Williams (politician) article has changed? I took the helpful information in your edits, and (I think) added to them by showing how:

• organisations other than Stonewall have noted Williams' position on gay rights issues
• Williams' takes particular interest in gay rights issues, above and beyond the average MP, and reliable sources (e.g. Newspapers) say so

I hope you think that makes the Stephen Williams page more balanced. (Although it needs a lot more work!) So...before you add the same link to other MP's pages, would you be able to find other references to prove why Stonewall's ratings are notable for that MP?

If these things can happen I think your future edits will not be removed.

PS: Please read WP:TPG. It's always better to talk through a discussion instead of ignoring it, and blanking your talk page of all discussion is not going to help this dispute be fixed. Also, it's very bad form to remove content from other people's talkpages. Please don't do that.
