This is a collection of discussions on the deletion of articles related to Austria. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Austria|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Austria. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.
This list is also part of the larger list of deletion debates related to Europe.

nonnotable business, tagged since 2015 meaning nobody cares --Altenmann >talk 22:45, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

- Draftify: Lacks significant coverage in English from reliable sources, the notability is unsure. While the German page has a longer article cited more recent sources, I cannot tell the quality of them due to the language. If the German article of it is deleted at last, this one should be deleted. Nihonjinatny (talk) 17:37, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

The seemingly extensive page describes only his family tree and property, but does not mention anything that makes him notable for a separate encyclopedia article. The mere fact that he was from a noble family does not make him notable. FromCzech (talk) 18:03, 24 August 2024 (UTC)

- Comments: It’s unclear if he had an actual career, or any secular political power. If either of these questions are answered yes, then he’s notable. If both are answered in the negative, then he fails WP:POL. Bearian (talk) 02:07, 31 August 2024 (UTC)

Fails WP:GNG and lacks WP:SIGCOV. Found some sources [1] and [2] which are trivial. However [3] appears to be extensive, but I don't think its enough for WP:SIGCOV. Sportsfan 1234 (talk) 19:55, 17 August 2024 (UTC)

- Delete: My searches yielded lots of passing mentions in "match" reports. The Salzburg24 article linked by the nom has a few sentences of coverage, but nothing approaching WP:SIGCOV. The subject fails WP:GNG. JTtheOG (talk) 20:21, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. Thanks for the source; it's been added to the article. Bgsu98 (Talk) 20:26, 17 August 2024 (UTC)
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: Relisting as there is disagreement on whether or not the sources are sufficient.
