L. L. Zamenhof
Ludwik Lejzer Zamenhof (or Ludwig Zamenhof; December 15, 1859 – April 14, 1917) was a Polish-Jewish ophthalmologist, philologist, and the initiator of Esperanto, the most widely spoken artificial language to date.
