What's New

NCI Funding Opportunities to Foster Research Independence for Early Career Investigators

Several NCI funding opportunities are now available to senior postdoctoral fellows or faculty-level candidates. These K awards aim to support research career development, including a mentored research scientist development award for early career researchers working in cancer control and population sciences.

New Date for Grantees to Comply With Data Management and Sharing Plan Activities Reporting

NIH will require grantees to report their progress on implementing approved data management and sharing plans in the Research Performance Progress Report, effective October 1, 2024. Pertinent information will be included in the updated FORMS-I application package, expected to be released in fall 2024.
