📢 We successfully commissioned a new node at the #CTC Valencia, located at the Joaquín Sorolla #AVE station! 🚄 This phase of the project began with the reconfiguration of a space designated by ADIF for a new CRC installation at Joaquín Sorolla station. After completing the necessary construction work and installing the required #communication and power infrastructure, we were able to bring it into service. Additionally, a new Command Post has been set up in this facility, featuring six new operating positions, one supervision position, and two maintenance positions, which will work in coordination with the CRC Fuente de San Luis team. The team worked tirelessly, updating the entire system and verifying interconnections with the Fuente de San Luís node. By the end of the year, we aim to complete the active-active implementation for unified node operations, advancing the areas controlled by our CTC. 📢 The Liege #tramway has completed the loading gauge tests from Liège Expo to General Leman, marking a significant milestone in the project.   With these tests, the line between Liège Expo/Coronmeuse and General Leman is now open in test mode for Tronçons 5, 6, 7, 8, and 11. During this period, the subsystems will be verified and #tram test runs without passengers will be conducted. Operator drivers training will continue in the Test Track.   Currently, driver training is being carried out on the Test Track, covering the sections from Troncon 11 to Tronçon 8 to Marengo, and will continue for six months from June until the start of the dry run (marche à blanc).   With the opening till General Leman, we will be able to conduct critical red signal overrun tests in the city center, where the tram will operate on single track during Sunday markets. This milestone is an important step in the final phase of tram system testing in Liège.   The mayor of Liège, Willy Demeyer, described the inauguration as ‘an historic day’. Almost 60 years after the last tramway, this milestone ‘will revolutionise #mobility, environmental and economic habits’, he said.   We keep moving forward! 👏 #Wearesafety We are #CAF 🚆
