El 20 de abril del 2002 se realizó la entrega de los Nickelodeon's Kids Choice Awards. El show se realizó en el aeropuerto de Santa Mónica en la ciudad del misma en California.featured a musical performance from double platinum recording artist Pink. The theme music for the awards was a Nickelodeon instrumental version of She Blinded Me With Science by Thomas Dolby. Rosie O'Donnell again hosted the awards presentation that was voted on by a record-breaking 22 million kids for their favorites.
