2024 European elections
Millions of EU citizens cast their vote in the European elections on 6 - 9 June 2024.
In the coming weeks and months, the newly elected Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) will elect their new leadership and resume work on legislation that was not finished in the 2019-2024 term.
MEPs will also vote to elect the new President of the European Commission, proposed by the leaders of EU countries.
