Skywalker. Luke Skywalker.

Both Star Wars and the James Bond series are known for having some of the most iconic opening sequences in film history, whether it’s that instantly recognizable opening crawl or that famous shot of Bond silhouetted in the barrel of a gun. Now, a fan has melded the two together, creating a gorgeous version of the Empire Strikes Back title sequence reimagined as a Bond opening.

School of Visual Arts student Kurt Rauffer shared the video on Vimeo this weekend, which he created as part of his senior thesis.

“The franchise really sparked my imagination as a child,” Rauffer wrote in the video’s description. “It not only let me exercise my imagination but also supplied me with some of the happiest memories as I watched it with my family.”

Rauffer soundtracked his homage with Radiohead’s “Spectre,” the unused theme song for last year’s Bond movie. (Spectre used “Writing’s on the Wall” by Sam Smith instead.)

“I really wanted to play on the concept of Luke trying to find himself and true purpose, so the music and inspiration felt fitting,” Rauffer added.
