Andrew Nusca

Andrew Nusca is the Editorial Director of Brainstorm, Fortune's innovation-obsessed community and event series that culminates in an annual, invite-only retreat in Deer Valley. He rejoined Fortune in 2024 after serving as Senior Director and Editor-in-Chief at Activision Blizzard, directing editorial efforts for the entertainment giant’s nearly 400 million gamers, and the first Executive Editor of Morning Brew, the Insider Inc-owned media startup, where he led and expanded its portfolio of consumer brands, including its eponymous flagship title. Nusca held a number of roles in his previous stint at Fortune. From 2016 to 2021 he was the publication's Digital Editor, leading its global digital editorial team and directing coverage across its website, newsletters, and social media channels. From 2013 to 2016 he was Senior Editor, overseeing technology coverage in print and online. He was a co-chair of the Fortune Brainstorm Tech summit from 2015 to 2021. Nusca joined Fortune after six years as an editor at CBS Interactive/CNET Networks, principally for ZDNet. His work has appeared in GQ, Men’s Vogue, Money, New York, New York Daily News, Popular Mechanics, Time, and others. He has appeared on camera for ABC, Bloomberg TV, CBS, CNBC, Fox News, and more. He has served as a judge for the American Society of Magazine Editors’ National Magazine Awards (“Ellies”) and the Deadline Club Awards, the annual competition of the New York City chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists. He is a graduate of New York University and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
