Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For 2024

This is the fourth year Dow has made the list, and it climbed 10 spots this year. The plastics and industrial-supplies manufacturer operates sites in 31 countries, and 60% of its workforce have on-the-ground roles like plant operators, engineers, and maintenance workers. Off the ground, its workers include researchers, scientists, information systems professionals, and sales staff.

Dow’s values, namely personal safety, inclusion and diversity, pay equity, and global humanitarian aid, are part of what makes it a great place to work. Dow offers opportunities to all employees to answer questions and voice concerns through 10 employee resource groups, which saw increased employee participation from 15% in 2017 to nearly 60% of employees this year.

It also offers employees access to a well-being portal where they can access rewards for healthy habits—in the first half of last year, the company invested more than $5 million in rewards, and employees have redeemed almost $12 million since the portal launched.
