    Congratulations to our Africa, Middle East, and Asia (AMEA) teams for contributing to Danone’s strong H1 financial results as presented this morning by Antoine de Saint-Affrique and Juergen Esser. In the region, sales increased by +5.6% on a like-for-like basis, with volume/mix up +1.4% - led in particular by sustained momentum in Specialized Nutrition. Growth in the region – which represents 100 diverse countries, 66% of the global population, and 75% of babies born – has not been an easy task, especially when you consider destabilizing factors (earthquakes, war, etc.). It’s clear testament to the amazing work of our passionate and dedicated teams – driving Renew Danone to win in AMEA! By focusing on this region, we can move closer to our goal of bringing health through food to the maximum number of people, driving a major impact. This is achieved, for example, through our work on iron deficiency anemia (IDA) eradication among children under age of five. A collaborative effort with global and local experts and authorities, and we’re on track to reach our goal of 5 million children screened by 2030!     Danone has announced a strong set of half-year financial results today, with all categories and regions contributing. I am so proud of our passionate and committed Danoners across both North America and LATAM where our teams are driving quality growth and bringing the Renew Danone strategy to life.  In North America, we delivered +5% (LFL) growth in Q2, and +3.7% (LFL) for the first half of 2024. Our team has continued to deliver accelerated volume/mix led growth, with resilient pricing. Strong gross margin delivery is enabling sustained reinvest - in our products, brands, and capabilities – while realizing consistent profit margin improvement. Our growth engines – high-protein with brands like Oikos, and across coffee creations with brands like International Delight and Stok were all major contributors again this quarter.  In Latin America, despite a challenging environment, our team delivered solid topline growth of +4.6% LFL, with growth led by Bonafont, Specialized Nutrition, and our high protein Greek dairy platform. A huge thank you again, to our Danoners who are making the results happen and our mission a reality. Now – we build on this great momentum into H2!  Danone #RenewDanone

    Our H1 2024 results are in, and the numbers are STRONG! +4% net sales growth on a like-for-like basis! But beyond the numbers, QUALITY continues to consistently improve across all categories and geographies, with positive volume/mix! This quality enables us to reinvest in our brands and capabilities, boosting winners in Dairy and Plant-based (e.g., high-protein range – Oikos, YoPRO), Medical Nutrition (e.g., Nutrison and Fortimel), and Coffee Creations (Internal Delight and Stok). At the same time, we’re STRENGTHENING our skillsets & strategic partnerships – like with Microsoft on AI, announced last week, and with Michelin on precision fermentation. We are creating VALUE!
