Joy To The World est un chant de [[Noël ]] populaire, écrit par [[Isaac Watts]], basé d’après Psalm 98 dans la [[Bible]].
La chanson fut publiée en [[1719]], dans la collection de Watt ‘’The Psalms of David : Imitated in the language of New Testament, and applied to the christian chain state and worship’’. [[Isaac Watts]] écrit la chanson comme hymne au retour du [[Christ]]<ref>[http://www.hymnary.org/text/joy_to_the_world_the_lord_is_come]</ref>.
La musique fut adaptée et arrangée par Lowell Mason en [[1839]].
Ce titre devient un des hymnes de Noel les plus populaires aux [[États-Unis]].
