Tropical Storm Debby

Tropical Storm Debby became the fourth named storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season Saturday August 03, 2024. Initial field and remote support teams have been identified and mobilized. Coordination and calls are underway with cross-sector partners and we ready to support with any technology needs the affected communities may have.

Hurricane Beryl

On July 8th, Beryl hit the Texas coast. Before the storm made landfall in the U.S., our staff and volunteers were already monitoring and beginning to mobilize resources to that area. Since, our teams have set up WiFi hotspots and cell phone charging stations around the Houston area and are continuing to identify new needs in order to help affected communities recover more quickly.

New Mexico Wildfires

On Monday June 17, 2024, the South Fork and Salt fires ignited on the Mescalero Apache Reservation. ITDRC has been actively engaged; coordinating with federal, local, state, tribal, non-governmental, and private sector entities to provide Information, Communications, and Technology (ICT) support to responders and the impacted communities.

May 2024 Severe Weather and Tornado Outbreak

ITDRC is providing support to communities in Florida, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas after a dangerous storm system made its way across the US.

Hurricane Idalia

Teams are providing emergency communications, WiFi connectivity, and cell phone charging stations in shelters and command centers and performing assessments for unmet communications and technical needs.

Maui Fires

Teams are providing direct support for public safety, survivors, and community recovery. We've established a field office on Maui to enable us to continuously assess and respond to unmet needs identified during recovery.

Pacific Northwest Fires

Response Teams are providing connectivity to support fire operations, as well as critical infrastructure impacted by a regional communications outage in Lake County, Oregon.
