Champagnie's $3 million salary for the 2024-25 season has been fully guaranteed, according to Michael Scotto of USA Today. This move does nothing but solidify Champagnie's roster status for the 2024-25 campaign with the Spurs, though he's likely to play a role off the bench instead of being a starter based on the influx of talent the franchise added during the offseason. Champagnie started 59 of 74 games played for the Spurs and shot 36.5 percent from three-point range during the 2023-24 season.

Latest Spurs News
Julian Champagnie : Salary becomes fully guaranteed
Champagnie's $3 million salary for the 2024-25 season has been fully guaranteed, according to Michael Scotto of USA Today. This move does nothing but solidify Champagnie's roster status for the 2024-25 campaign with the Spurs, though he's likely to play a role off the bench instead of being a starter based on the influx of talent the franchise added during the offseason. Champagnie started 59 of 74 games played for the Spurs and shot 36.5 percent from three-point range during the 2023-24 season.
Victor Wembanyama : Leads France to Olympic win
Wembanyama posted 18 points (6-13 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, two blocks and two steals across 31 minutes in France's 94-90 overtime win over Japan in the Paris Olympics on Tuesday. Wembanyama proved his role as the clear No. 1 option for France, scoring a team-high 18 points, with eight of those points coming in overtime. The 20-year-old continued his elite two-way play Tuesday, and through two group-phase games, he has already racked up six steals and five blocks. Wembanyama has also accumulated 37 points and 20 rebounds across that two-game span, and his efficiency from deep against Japan was a welcome sight after he went 1-for-4 against Brazil on Saturday. The young star will hope to bring France to the podium, and the squad has the talent to do so with Rudy Gobert, Nicolas Batum and Evan Fournier alongside Wembanyama.
Harrison Ingram : Inks two-way deal
Ingram signed a two-way contract with the Spurs on Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. The No. 48 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, Ingram will likely spend most of his rookie campaign in the G League with the Austin Spurs. The North Carolina product was solid during Summer League and is eligible to play in 50 NBA games as a rookie under his current deal.
Nathan Mensah : Joins San Antonio for camp
Mensah and the Spurs agreed to a training camp deal Monday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports. Mensah spent time with the Hornets during the 2023-24 regular season, appearing in 25 games with averages of 1.3 points and 2.6 rebounds while on a two-way contract. In San Antonio, Mensah will be facing an uphill battle to claim a final roster spot.
Victor Wembanyama : Stuffs stat sheet in Olympic debut
Wembanyama produced 19 points (7-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-7 FT), nine rebounds, four steals, three blocks and two assists across 31 minutes in France's 78-66 win over Brazil in the Paris Olympics on Saturday. Wembanyama's Olympic debut did not disappoint as he displayed his elite two-way abilities in Saturday's win. The 20-year-old will undoubtedly be a focal point for France, and he will hope to take the squad on a successful Olympic run alongside Rudy Gobert and Nicolas Batum. Wembanyama is coming off a stellar rookie season, during which he averaged 21.4 points, 10.6 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 3.6 blocks and 1.2 steals across 29.7 minutes.
David Duke : Inks deal with San Antonio
The Spurs signed Duke (undisclosed) to a two-way contract Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Duke made four NBA appearances for San Antonio in 2023-24, averaging 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 12.8 minutes. This season, the 24-year-old guard is set to split time between the Spurs and their G League affiliate. While Duke did miss the Summer League due to an undisclosed injury, there is no indication that he will miss any of the 2024-25 campaign.
Riley Minix : Signed to training camp contract
Minix agreed to a training camp contract with the Spurs on Sunday, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports. Minix will join San Antonio for training camp after performing well for the team's Summer League squad. Even if he does make the roster, he will likely spend much of his time with the team's G League affiliate.
Harrison Ingram : Not on active roster for Sunday
Ingram isn't on the active roster for Sunday's Summer League finale against the Raptors for an undisclosed reason, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Ingram was a second-round pick by San Antonio this year. He had a solid start to the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 10.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in 28.6 minutes per game over four appearances. However, it appears as though he'll be unavailable Sunday for an undisclosed reason.
