Slow start costs Medina girls basketball in 49-28 Division I regional semifinal loss to Toledo Notre Dame Academy

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A 12-point deficit at the end of the first quarter was too much for Medina's girls basketball team to overcome as they lost in the Division I Norwalk Regional semifinal to Toledo Notre Dame Academy, 49-28.

The Bees (23-3) trailed after one quarter, 18-6. Their offense struggled for much of the game, scoring just 17 points in the first three quarters.
