Northeast Lakes All-District boys basketball: Lorain's Devon Grant, Lake Catholic's Luka Eller lead 2018-19 honors

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Lorain's Devon Grant is the Northeast Lakes District Division I Player of the Year in boys basketball.

Lake Catholic's Luka Eller, Beachwood's Jayson Woodrich and Open Door's Trey Brooks also are district players of the year in their respective divisions, as the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association announced its all-district teams Thursday.

Grant led Lorain to a 21-1 record and Lake Erie League championship while averaging 26.1 points per game. Mentor's Bob Krizancic is the district coach of the year in Division I. Fairview's Ryan Barry, Kirtland's Shawn McGregor and Newbury's Dan Jones also are coaches of the year in their divisions.
