The Eagles might not have even made the playoffs had it not been for Kent, whose heroics spanned back to a regular-season road win at Cincinnati Archbishop Moeller. His 39-yard touchdown catch gave the Eagles a 29-22 win in the final 1:19. They made the playoffs as the seventh seed in Region 1.
