    In August, U.S. Bank and Elavon brought together colleagues from across our entire global footprint to tackle the potential for artificial intelligence to influence the future of banking. Our three-day Payments GenAI Hackathon in Atlanta, Georgia, USA empowered project teams – including our own Jacinta Bolger, Sylwia Hannigan, and Mariusz Krycki – to explore, innovate, and test ideas with a responsible and measured approach. Thank you to everyone who took part for sharing their unique expertise and knowledge to propose creative solutions!

    The results of the Global Content Awards 2024 are in and we’re over the moon: our campaign with IKEA has won the Silver Award in the Global Finance Content Campaign of the Year category. The judges said: “Elavon had a unique approach to branding that avoids traditional methods. We were impressed by how well the results aligned with the objectives outlined at the start of the campaign, making it straightforward to measure success against pre-defined goals.”   Big hat-tip to the fine folk at SomeBrightSpark, who poured their creative hearts into the expertly crafted video campaign. We appreciate our partnership with Ingka Group and Sam Langsford, Inbound Payment Specialist, to bring this collaborative story to life.     For many Irish consumers, great service and exceptional customer experience is all about their most valued commodity: time. Stephen Kennedy, founder of the specialty coffee chain Copper + Straw explains how seamless digital payments from Elavon power his in-demand business. “We have a lot of customers in the morning who literally have just 15 minutes before they have to be in the office, or they come in during their lunch break when they have just half an hour,” says Kennedy. “Every minute is precious, so the ability to manage queues and complete a large number of orders efficiently is hugely important.
