“Like a lot of people, I give regularly to a few charities that are close to my heart. I’m delighted to help. I recently made my Will and I included a gift to Women’s Aid in it. And you know, it feels like more of a gift to me than to them. It’s a truly lovely feeling having done it. Maybe it’s knowing I can continue to support their vital work long after I’m gone (and I don’t intend leaving this life any time soon!). It’s not a solemn thing to do, it’s actually a joyful feeling knowing I can help make life better for women in danger after I’m gone.” – Jane, a donor who has pledged a gift in their Will to Women’s Aid. Once you’ve taken care of friends and family in your Will, a gift to Women’s Aid is a powerful personal act that will transform the future for our daughters and granddaughters. We had another fantastic time recently bringing the Too Into You campaign back to #ElectricPicnic festival for the second time. Women's Aid Ireland staff and volunteer Too Into You Ambassadors chatted to festival goers about the campaign and supports Women's Aid provides for young people at toointoyou.ie We hosted a #TooIntoYou stall in the Main Arena as part of Festival Republic's initiative to promote safer gigs and zero tolerance of sexual violence. At the tent, we: 💞Handed out thousands of wristbands signposting to toointoyou.ie. 🎶 Highlighted our Relationship Quiz and the red flags of abuse. 💫 Had 40,848 video views across TikTok and Instagram. 🎪 Posted 50 pieces of unique content and had over 1k profile visits. ✨ Interacted with influencers who raised awareness of the Relationship Quiz. Our presence and signposting throughout the festival exposed thousands to the Too Into You campaign and allowed us to engaged with them in person about intimate relationship abuse and resources at toointoyou.ie. Looking forward to next year already!
