Yes, your car feels lonely and neglected. That is if you’re working at Intuit, where our people are using the brand new shuttle services to work anytime they’re not working from home. With 3 shuttle lines covering most of Gush Dan, from Jaffa all the way to Kfar-Saba, there really is no reason to move your car.

Giving back to the community is not just something we do as a company: we also encourage our employees to initiate activities in areas close to their hearts and provide the support, facilities and some work behind the scenes to make it happen. Last week we hosted a meetup by Restart, a non-profit devoted to the empowerment of men and women who were injured during their military service. The theme of the session we hosted was networking – and its key in restarting your career. Kudos to Shoshi Rushnevsky, a senior product manager who has just recently joined Intuit, who pushed for holding this inspiring event at our office.

Taking the kids to work? It can be a nightmare, unless of course you work at Intuit, where we held a Bar/Bar Mitzvah party for our employees’ children. Can’t get their eyes off the screen? The VR bike experience should do the trick with some help of food experiments and loads of cookies, cakes, candy and other carbs that only 12 year olds can consume with a clear conscience.

If you’ve ever seen a good deepfake - you probably didn’t even realize it’s not real. Deepfakes are all around us, and the good ones can be not only creepy - but also dangerous: Just think of a Zoom call with your manager’s boss at midnight asking you to make a transaction on his behalf (when in fact the real boss is fast asleep - these kind of things actually happened…) In order to better understand the phenomenon of Deepfakes and how to spot them in time, our Security & Fraud forum invited GetClarity's CEO and Co-founder, Michael Matias for a captivating presentation and discussion on the latest technology for identifying deepfakes. Are Data Scientists more prone to stage fright than others? Our very own Linoy Cohen gladly busts that myth, swiftly taking over the main stage at the #AWSTLVSummit last week in front of hundreds of engineers and developers. As a data scientist at our Analytics, AI and Data group (A2D), LLMs are really in Linoy’s comfort zone. Talking confidently about customizing foundation models for specific applications and use cases, she sure seemed like she knows what’s she’s talking about – and enjoying every minute.

Time flies when you’re having fun… We were excited to celebrate a major milestone today with Intuit Israel’s 10-year anniversary. In summer of 2014 Intuit has made its first acquisition in our local ecosystem, and has since grown to reach 500 employees - positioning itself as a strategic development center for the entire company. Here’s to another decade of coding creativity!

AI has long been considered a game changer in unleashing untapped human potential. And in no domain is this potential for doing good greater than in the field of medicine. We are extremely proud of our Machine Learning expert Dr. Guy Shtar who was invited to share his experience onstage at the AI for Biology Track at the Tel Aviv University AI Week conference, speaking alongside leading scholars in the intersection of AI and life sciences. How can we sum up Women in Data Science (WiDS) Tel Aviv, the premier event for women in data sciences that took place last week in TLV? In one word: AGAIN! Intuit Israel is proud to have sponsored this incredible conference for the 7th year in a row, led by our fantastic WiDS ambassadors and #DataScientists: Or B., Noah Eyal Altman, and Nitzan Gado, along with the support of Naama Shenhav Cohen. A remarkable line-up of talented and inspiring women taking on the main stage, led by keynotes from Dr. Aya Soffer and Prof. Reut Tsarfaty, truly ignited the audience.  A special shoutout to the event moderator Rotem Pinchover and the production company, Mainland, who did an amazing job making sure this event was perfect. In keeping with our commitment to #SocialResponsibility and giving back to the community, we are delighted to inform that all ticket sales proceeds were donated to the The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel איגוד מרכזי הסיוע לנפגעות ולנפגעי תקיפה מינית in Israel, an organization dedicated to helping survivors of sexual violence.
