In pursuit of our mission, we organize - UpStart, the Indian Business Model Competition designed to cater to budding startups across India. UpStart distinguishes itself from conventional startup competitions by offering participants more than just a prize. UpStart provides a valuable opportunity to refine their ideas and perfect their business plans under the guidance of a seasoned panel of mentors. E-Summit is the annual flagship event of E-Cell IIT Kanpur. The symposium serves as a dynamic nexus for all stakeholders within the entrepreneurship ecosystem, with a massive attendance of 15,000+ participants professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, innovators and students. Over the span of three exhilarating days, E-Summit offers a rich tapestry of activities, including enlightening speaker sessions, impromptu funding competitions, expansive networking opportunities, and a myriad of events like workshops, competitions, panel discussions. If you're an Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur founder reading this, trust me - idk if it's Shark Tank effect or the culture reset after COVID, but the audience I had in my recent session at IITK deserves a lot more than me. I spent around 75 of my 90 alloted minutes in a two-way interaction with the 2nd/3rd/4th/5th year students and in that time I got to interact with some people that had genuine interest to understand and consider building businesses, the questions were really deep and specific at times which wasn't what I expected or could've even known about in my time at the campus. From what I realized, AlmaKonnect seems like a great initiative for people having way better experience and exposure than me for such students. Really urge the ones reading this to try going for AlmaKonnect or sharing my experience to the ones who would be relevant. You can also have an online session, check for the PoC in comments! P.S. The HII Fellows have completed a week of dynamic clinical immersion at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. Throughout this period, they have systematically traversed various departments within the institute, diligently identifying and analyzing the multifaceted challenges clinicians and patients face. This rigorous process involves observing clinical practices and engaging with healthcare professionals to gain deeper insights into systemic inefficiencies and patient care obstacles. At the culmination of their 21-day immersion, the fellows are expected to synthesize their findings and leverage their collective expertise to develop a prototype.
