Cleaning up debris that washes a shore in the intertidal zone is crucial for safeguarding marine ecosystems from potential threats to aquatic life. Tide schedules and weather forecasts are checked to plan the cleanup during low tide and safe conditions. The clean-up process requires the workers to be armed with proper safety gears such as helmet, gloves, boots, uniform, and safety goggles, etc. Documentation is also a vital part. After every clean-up, the types and amount of debris collected are recorded.
