IAM or Identity Access Management is a key component in security planning. A useful way to picture it is to imagine it working like a security system at a concert. Authentication is the process that's similar to security checks at the concert gates. It's a rigorous identity check, that allows you inside venue. Once you're in, you don't have free reign over all the seats. Specific seats are assigned to you based on your ticket – this is like the Authorization part of IAM. It ensures you only access the areas you're intended to, based on your credentials. Auditing tracks your pathway to your seat. This information is stored and used for reviewing or analyzing later on if needed. IAM is a vital part of a security strategy.

A startup is inherently experimental and regularly faces uncertainty. Resilience is the ability to navigate through these uncertainties. Startups should be capable of self-healing and continuously learning. Self-healing, above all, signifies resilience and adaptability. There are 2 levels of details to understand here - the broader view (macro) and the finer details (micro) At a macro level, you must understand the problem, decide the best algorithmic paradigm to apply and recognize your resource constraints. For instance, GPUs can only process limited amount of data at a time. At a micro level, you need to understand the nuances of the chosen programming language. You should deeply know how the chosen programming language implements the data structures you intend to employ with the above paradigm. Once you are done implementing, test it thoroughly through diverse test scenarios, prioritizing edge cases. Analyze the performance and refine it for optimal efficiency

Choosing the right technique depends on various factors Problem Size: For smaller problems, more direct algorithms like brute force may be enough Problem Structure: Check if the problem can be broken down into sub-tasks or if the best choice can be made at each step (Greedy Algos) Performance: If performance is the key, use efficient techniques like divide-and-conquer, dynamic programming, or heuristics Precision: If approximates are okay, heuristic or monte-carlo techniques can be chosen Resources: With enough memory and power, parallel algorithms and execution can speed up the process Often, a combination of the above techniques will be required to solve a problem more effectively
