  • Mr. Jose Torres, FLCSI Code 400 Director, presented Certificates of Appreciation on behalf of NAVSUP FLCSI Commanding Officer Capt. Walker to the Deveselu, Romania Customs Director and Customs Staff to thank them for their superb continued partnership alliance, cooperation, and collaboration that expeditiously processes our Navy cargo to and through Romania. During the preceding U.S. Government fiscal year, Principal Customs Inspector Cismaru Razvan, Dreglea Raluca, Senior Customs Inspector Merisescu Cristian, Stoica Daniel and Head of Customs House in Corabia, Romania Ms. Elena Birtan performed customs clearance actions for 1,903 assets totaling 286,000 pounds valued at 19 million dollars. These efforts are vital to enabling seamless end to end delivery and distribution of essential material, ensuring uninterrupted re-supply and sustainment for forward deployed U.S. Naval Forces defending NATO's eastern flank from the Aegis Ashore Missile Defense System in Naval Support Facility Deveselu, Romania. Mr. Torres is conducting an FLCSI Code 400 staff assistance visit to the Aegis Ashore Ballistic Missile Defense Sites, reinforcing FLCSI's commitment and gratitude to our partner allies as we collectively secure the region with our Romanian Defense counter parts.

  • Sailors and Civilians from NAVSUP FLCSI Site Rota recently toured the USS Hershel "Woody" Williams (ESB-4) during their port visit to Naval Station Rota. This opportunity allowed the Site Rota team to see firsthand how the supply and logistical support provided by FLCSI translates into operational and mission readiness for the Fleet. Additionally, it gave many employees, especially our Spanish Host Nation Partners, a look into what life is like on a U.S. Naval Ship.
