マーティン・ギャリックス（Martin Garrix、1996年5月14日 - ）は、オランダのDJ、作詞家、音楽プロデューサー。スピニン・レコードに所属。[1] 「アニマルズ"[[::en::Animals (Martin Garrix song)|Animals]]"は」、10か国以上の国の音楽チャートにベストテン入りする彼の代表曲である。イギリス、ベルギーでは最高ランク第1位に、アイルランドでは最高ランク第3位に順位をつけた。

2014年にジェイ・ハードウェイとともにプロデュースした「ウィザード "[[::en::Wizard (song)|Wizard]]"」もまた、数多くの国々で成功を収めている。

経歴

4歳の時、ギターを習い始め、音楽への関心を持つようになった。

8歳の時には、2004年のアテネオリンピックで演奏を行うティエストの姿を見て、DJになる夢を強く描くようになった。 特にティエストのシングル曲「トラフィック[[::en::Traffic (Tiësto song)|"Traffic"]]」にインスピレーションをうけた彼は、専門ソフトをダウンロードし、作曲活動を始めた。 現在、ユトレヒトにある音楽プロデューサー養成学校であるザ・ハーマン・ブラッド・アカデミーに在学中。

2012年

2012年に、ギャリックスは「BFAM」の曲作りに取り掛かり、ジュリアン・ジョーダンと共同リリースした。[2] その年の才能あるＤＪを称える賞（the SLAM! FM DJ Talent of the Year Award）を受賞する。[3]同年、彼の手掛けたリミックス曲 「ユア・ボディ"[[::en::Your Body (Christina Aguilera song)|Your Body]]"」[4] がクリスティーナ・アギレラのアルバム「ロータス"Lotus"」に収録された。 作詞はマックス・マーティン、 [[::en::Shellback (producer)|Shellback]] 、[[::en::|Savan Kotecha]]。

2013年

「Ultra Music Festival2014」にて、Dillon Francisやハードウェル、そして、アフロジャックらとコラボレーションを行い、いくつかの新曲や未発売曲のパフォーマンスを行った。また、ファンに昨年の功績への感謝として「プロキシー"Proxy"」をSoundCloudにて無料ダウンロードで提供した。
