Josie Torres Barth

Josie Torres Barth is an assistant professor of film and media studies at Bucknell University. Her current book project, Uncanny On Air: Horror Anthologies from Radio to TV in the Postwar Home, traces the horror anthology format through moments of industrial, technological, and cultural change in the United States from the 1940s to the 1960s. Her work has appeared in Camera Obscura and the edited collection Prestige Television: Cultural and Artistic Value in 21st Century America (2022).
