This stance could provide opportunities to some of La Fabrica’s brightest talents, one of which is Joan Martinez. The 16-year-old has joined up with the first team for the pre-season tour of the United States, which gets underway in the early hours of Thursday morning when AC Milan are faced off against.
Martinez is very highly regarded within Real Madrid, although there has been a chance that they part ways with him this summer. The Athletic have reported that several Premier League clubs have spoken to the teenager’s agents about his availability, but his stance is clear – he has no desire to move.
Real Madrid supporters will surely get the chance to see Martinez in action over the next couple of weeks. Depending on the circumstances, he could be called upon on several occasions by Carlo Ancelotti throughout the 2024-25 season.
