It's not yet set up as a cronjob in order not to interfere with Deltabot.
Ah. Considering the operator has not edited globally in nearly half a year, I think it would be safe to assume that he/she is unlikely to return soon.
We had the same problem in August. Suddenly the bot started editing again. Since there is a component in the selection of items for the popular items list that prevents currently listed items from being including in the next update, I would like to avoid a ping-pong of two competing bots.
If Pasleim wants to continue this job, he can simply do so. Otherwise the job just needs to be cancelled, and a short note would be sufficient in order to take over this job.
It would probably be a good idea to recruit some co-maintainers for his bots anyways. Some have somewhat important jobs here. —MisterSynergy (talk) 17:41, 23 October 2022 (UTC)
Alright; sounds good. I'd love to help maintain them, but I don't think I have the time.
@MisterSynergy: I've added you as co-maintainer to my projects on Toolforge. During the last year I had no time to maintain my bots. And also in the future I will probably only be able to make the most urgent adjustments.
