This article contains spoilers from the first episode of EastEnders set to air on Wednesday (July 3), which has not yet been shown on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) has been determined to get her hands on some of Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) inheritance, ever since it was revealed that he was dying.
Nish returned to Albert Square after being disowned by his family with the shocking news that he didn’t have long left to live. Since then, most of the family have accepted him back into the fold.
Unfortunately, Priya’s efforts to get into his good books and therefore his will were soon caught out, and Nish warned her that she wouldn’t be getting a penny.
Determined to secure a future for herself and her kids, Priya came up with a plan in recent scenes, and approached Nish with a deal.
She explained to him that she was sure he didn’t want to spend his last few months ‘fizzling out’ and offered to make them much more ‘enjoyable’ – for a small fee, of course.
At first, Nish laughed her off, but Priya remained determined.
When Nish later returned to the house, having witnessed a particularly romantic moment between ex-wife Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) and girlfriend Eve Unwin (Heatehr Peace), Priya tried again to convince him to agree to her deal.
As she pointed out how good it would feel to see the look on Suki’s face when she learnt that he was sleeping with Priya, Nish soon called her bluff, suggesting that she wouldn’t be prepared to go far enough.
However, Priya had soon proved him wrong, and the pair ended up kissing.

Is Priya set to get exactly what she wanted, or will she end up being double crossed by Nish?
And if he does agree to pay up, what will this mean for Suki and Vinny Panesar’s (Shiv Jalota) plan?
Viewers will know that Vinny has been deliberately sucking up to dad Nish in the hopes of being written back into the will, and inheriting the businesses that Suki worked so hard to build.
Will Priya end up destroying their plan?
