It’s time! (Pictures: ITV)

Ruby Fox-Miligan (Beth Cordingly) is known for being ruthless, always landing on her feet, and getting whatever she wants. This goes for Caleb Miligan (William Ash), avoiding jail time, and exacting her coldest and cruellest revenge in Emmerdale.

But her plot to bring down Kim Tate (Claire King) has so far not yielded results, largely because she seems to be losing her grip on her pawn Rose Jackson (Cristine Tremarco), and this does not sit well with Ruby.

Rose has only sort of been keeping her end of the deal – she’s certainly got in with the family, but seems to have fallen short of carrying out the plan, which is to bed Will Taylor (Dean Andrews).

She’s flirted with him, but progress has been slow. And Ruby is not the patient type.

While Ruby has threatened Rose on several occasions, there has still been few developments. But now is the time, no more waiting.

Ruby and Caleb manage to reconcile after everything that’s happened, but Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) is still keeping his distance. Caleb wants to try and pull him back in the fold and stop him leaving, but Ruby resolves to let him go.

While her main agenda is that Nicky gets to do his own thing, her other is that her mind is preoccupied with plots for revenge.

Ruby meets up with Rose for a progress report, but once again Dawn’s birth mum tries to pull out of their deal to destroy Kim’s life, it’s just not her main prerogative anymore.

She cites Evan’s predicament as the reason, but compassionless Ruby does not care. She is ready to take down her enemy, and no one will stop her, not even Rose’s pleas to let her new family be.

Will Ruby plan a double whammy and bring both Kim and Rose down together?
