Mandy looks confused in Emmerdale

Emmerdale fans were left frustrated last week when an episode of the ITV soap was pulled without warning.

On Friday (July 5), ITV’s original plan was to air the Euros and then Emmerdale and Coronation Street afterwards.

However, due to the Spain vs Germany game beginning at 5pm and carrying on for longer than expected, the ITV News aired after, and then Coronation Street at 9-10pm.

This now means if ITV broadcasts Monday’s (July 8) episode of Emmerdale as planned, an instalment will technically be missing.

Because of the Euros, Coronation Street and Emmerdale are uploading their episodes to streaming platform ITVX early, to ensure fans are still able to watch without worrying about constant schedule changes.

Right now though, you can watch tonight’s instalment on ITVX as well as Thursday’s (July 4), but not Friday’s.

Keeping up?

As it stands, we currently don’t know which episode will be broadcasted on ITV1 tonight, but Metro.co.uk will always bring you the most updated information whenever it is confirmed.

In the most recent developments (aka, Thursday’s episode), Caleb (William Ash) was confronted by Charles (Kevin Mathurin), who had worked out he had something to do with Ethan’s (Emile John) hit and run before he died.

Charles took Caleb to the woods and tried to get revenge. There, Caleb took the fall for Ruby (Beth Cordingly) and said he was responsible, but also pointed out to Charles that reporting the crime to the police won’t achieve anything, because a coroner had already concluded Ethan’s death had nothing to do with the collision.

Elsewhere, Mandy (Lisa Riley) reluctantly attended an evening of board games and drinks with Paddy (Dominic Brunt), Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Rhona (Zoe Henry), but got a little bit carried away with the martinis and ended up telling Rhona that she thinks she’s boring!
