Sketch tells his fans about his ‘dark’ past (Twitch)

Content creator Sketch has confirmed that the sexually explicit images of him that surfaced on social media this weekend are real, calling it ‘a dark time’.

Livestreaming sensation Sketch, who only last December had 33,000 followers on Twitch but has accumulated a staggering 1.1 million today, has confirmed that the sexually explicit images of him with another man are real.

The images appeared on social media over the weekend, without fans being sure if it was him or not, but Sketch has now confirmed they’re real.

As he addressed his fans on his Twitch channel, Sketch said it was ‘a dark time’, and that he considered taking his own life if the images ever surfaced. But although that has now happened, fans and other content creators have made sure to show their support for him.

‘I was dealing with some addiction problems. A couple of them. […] Yeah, that was me. I f***** up. I won’t do it again,’ Sketch told his fans.

‘But on a real note, I’ve been living with the threat of that coming out for like two years,’ he said, adding:

‘Started social media, just kind of ****ing around, had that in my past. I’ll tell you what, weight lifted of my shoulders. God is good. All the time.’

He said it was ‘a dark time’ in his life, but explained that others saved him, as he started to tear up.

‘I’ll be honest, plan A was, and I’ll say it candidly, was probably call it quits if this ever came out, but some people saved me. Shoutout [FaZe] Banks, shoutout my parents, shoutout you all. I f***** up, but I’m changed.’

‘My original plan was… there’s two things. One, either be delusional and think it’s never going to come out. Or two, what was the plan after? The plan after was not very good. If I was alone and I was at my house, I probably wouldn’t be talking to you right now.

‘But people like FaZe Banks especially, and my friends that I’ve made over the past couple of years came and they saved me,’ Sketch said.

Since Sketch confirmed the images are real, other content creators, such as FaZe Banks, Hasan Abi, Ludwig, and FaZe Kaysan, have shown their support on Twitter.

‘Sketch is a legend. Handled it better than anyone could have in this situation. He’s been nothing but kind, genuine, and humble to everyone including myself, said FaZe Kaysan on Twitter, and added:

‘We saw him last night after everything came out and watching the videos. This kid is a warrior. We stand with Sketch.’

Sketch ended the short stream after saying he will be back online soon, sometime in the next few days.

‘I’d rather you know my flaws though, it makes it easier,’ Sketch concluded.
