The National Archives Comes Alive! Young Learners Program: Meet Mark Twain

Samuel Langhorne Clemens, also known by his pen name, Mark Twain, was an American writer and humorist. Twain is considered one of America’s greatest writers, producing classic novels such as The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Come learn about how he got his start writing and the many friendships he made during his long career.

Mark Twain is portrayed by Bob Gleason of the American Historical Theatre.
