A career-spanning project, released to coincide with Luke Bryan’s massive tour of the same name, Mind of a Country Boy opens with its newly released title track, a hooky peek into the things that make Bryan tick, like whether to hit up “a honky-tonk or the river bend” and “old school Alabama” music. Bryan follows that one with another new tune, the single “Love You, Miss You, Mean It”, a nostalgic track about a long-lost love. Bryan pulls together some of his biggest hits for the outing, too, like Crash My Party’s “Play It Again” and the 2011 Tailgates & Tanlines smash “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)”. The superstar and American Idol judge rounds out the project with the 2015 Kill the Lights cut “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” and another Tailgates & Tanlines favourite, “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye”.
