About Lee Young Ji

South Korean rapper and singer Lee Young Ji (born Lee Young-ji) started her musical career on survival shows. The winner of 2019's High School Rapper 3, she made her solo debut with the glassy trap of 2019's "Dark Room." With an insistent vocal delivery and punchy flow, the rapper expanded her range across early singles like "Just" and "Walga" before having her first breakthrough with the 2021 Jay Park collaboration "Day & Night." Her real breakout came when she won the survival series Show Me the Money 11 (2022). After performing the number four-charting hit "Not Sorry" for the show's third episode, Lee Young Ji became the first female winner its history. She issued her debut EP, 16 Fantasy, in 2024. It spawned her first number one hit, the English-language R&B single "Small Girl," which topped the Circle Digital Chart and won numerous music shows.
