Major Outcomes:

• Expansion of Generate Use for Federal EDFacts Reporting -Leveraging CEDS as the MSIS 2.0 standard, Mississippi will maximize the benefits of the Generate tool, and greatly strengthen and streamline MDE's EDFacts reporting. MDE will share all materials with the CEDS and SLDS communities.
• Integration of Early Learning Collaborative Data - Integrating data from the highly impactful Early Learning Collaboratives (ELCs) into MSIS 2.0, MDE will expand its ability to provide meaningful and longitudinal research to policymakers and providers on the outcomes of students who participate in ELCs.
• Integration of Local Assessment Data - Integrating local assessment data into MSIS 2.0 will meet the needs of Local Education Agencies (LEAs) and empower all LEAs in the state with equitable access to valuable insights on the academic progress of not only their students, but also of their programs.
• Revision of P20W Data Integration - MDE and NSPARC will work to ensure that, as data sets and integrations are updated using MSIS 2.0 data, impacts to longitudinal data comparisons are avoided or minimized.

• Develop the hardware and software capacity for building and hosting the relational database and the one-stop portal
• Upgrade each partner with the appropriate infrastructure and technology for data collection, storage, and use
• Develop and adopt a statewide, comprehensive policy on data quality assurance
• Train state and local personnel on data entry and use to facilitate full adoption and effective use of the system
• Include all the necessary data to link PK with K-20.
