How is a world-leading supplier to the automotive industry using digital identities to drive hyper-efficiency in their operations? 🔍 📢The Solution: Item-level digital identification with RFID Yazaki adopted a solution based on #RFID technology. Now every RTI has an intelligent label with a unique code, and RFID readers for automated scanning have been installed at strategic positions throughout the operation. The entire system integrates with SAP via Data Elektronik’s RCOM Gateway, an enterprise scale RFID middleware. The solution has transformed the way RTIs are tracked and managed: Accuracy: RFID labels provided over 99.8% accuracy in identifying and locating RTIs. Unlike barcodes, which often lead to ambiguity, RFID tags uniquely identify each container, its contents, production batch, time, and more. Early detection of process errors: RFID gates automatically detect any RTI container or any pallet placed in the wrong part of the process by human error.
