Depth perception

Do people with one eye have depth perception? Yes, because there are monocular cues to depth such as motion parallax. They do not have true stereopsis (or binocular vision), but they do have a perception of depth. At night or in low light levels there may be less monocular cues to depth. This is why people who wear monovision contact lenses (one for distance one for near) instead of bifocal contact lenses may have more trouble driving at night. ~Dr. W
