Electrical Trades Instructor for the Alva Campus:

Northwest Technology Center is seeking a full-time, 10-month instructor for the Electrical Trades program on the Alva Campus. Duties for this position will begin on October 1, 2024. The Electrical Trades program is designed to help prepare both secondary and adult students who are interested in going into the electrical field.  Applicants must hold or be willing to obtain the Oklahoma State Department of Education Standard Secondary Teaching Certification in Trade and Industrial Education. Five years of trade or occupational experience is required in the licensed area as well as knowledge and skills in residential and commercial electricity. Applicants must be licensed in the state of Oklahoma in one of the two occupational areas as a Journeyman Electrician.  Applicants may view the Electrical Trades Instructor Job Description.

Practical Nursing Assistant Director/Instructor for the Alva Campus:

Northwest Technology Center is seeking a full-time, 12-month Practical Nursing Assistant Director/Instructor for the Alva Campus.  Duties for this position will begin on October 1, 2024. The Practical Nursing Assistant Director/Instructor will coordinate and conduct a competency-based instructional program; teach knowledge, attitudes, and skills in the Practical Nursing curriculum.  Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in nursing and be currently licensed in Oklahoma as Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license (MSN, RN). The applicant must have at least one academic year, full-time experience teaching in a nursing education major; a minimum of two years full-time equivalent practice as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, within the last five years preceding the first date of first employment as a teacher. Business and Industry Services Health Coordinator for the Alva Campus:

Northwest Technology Center (NWTC) is seeking a full-time, 12 month Business and Industry Services Health Coordinator for the Alva Campus.  This position coordinates, develops, implements and instructs health and safety training programs for the healthcare industry and general business and industry.  Applicant must hold current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).  Applicants must have one year experience in the practice of the profession.  Experience supervising and directing staff in a health care facility and teaching/presentation skills are desirable.  Some evening and weekend work will be required.
