Pennsylvania Democrat Conor Lamb has defeated Republican Keith Rothfus — in the nation’s only race between two incumbents — to claim a seat in the state’s newly drawn 17th Congressional District.
It’s the second victory for Lamb this year following his special election win in the now-defunct 18th District back in March. The Marine veteran managed to nab 59.4 percent of the vote on Tuesday.
Rothfus, who currently serves in the 12th District, received 40.6 percent. President Trump had publicly endorsed him on numerous occasions.
