Teens busted for throwing metal pipe through synagogue window

Two 13-year-old boys were busted Thursday for throwing a metal pipe through a Brooklyn synagogue window on the Sabbath, police sources said.

A group of teens was caught on surveillance video launching the pole through a glass window of Synagogue Volkan on Franklin Avenue near Myrtle Avenue around 5:45 p.m. Saturday while congregation members were observing the Sabbath inside.

“People were praying inside at the time,” a man who was at the temple told The Post. “Everyone is upset already. So, this we don’t need this now.”

Before breaking the glass, the teens knocked a hat off a 14-year-old Jewish boy and pushed a 10-year-old girl to the ground in the area.
