Ex-Knicks swingman J.R. Smith forked over nearly $600 on Thursday to resolve his cell phone-throwing debacle with a fan.
Smith received an adjournment in contemplation of dismissal — meaning fourth-degree criminal mischief charges will be dropped so long as he stays out of trouble — for snatching a fan’s phone in July.
The current Cleveland Cavaliers guard chucked the phone into a construction site after the fan tried to snap his photo outside The Park restaurant on 10th Avenue in Chelsea.
He paid $597.72 to replace the damaged iPhone 6S.
“The case is dismissed. He’s going to Cleveland,” his lawyer, Alex Spiro, said outside the courtroom in Manhattan criminal court.
The 33-year-old, who was wearing a turquoise trench coat, high-top Nike sneakers and black jeans, didn’t comment.
