Gaza is experiencing a “near-total internet blackout,” according to two telecommunications operators in the region.

“The incident “[mirrors] previous recorded outages, and will be experienced as a total loss of communications by most residents,” London-based firm Netblocks — one of the last two remaining major telecommunications operators in Gaza — said Monday.

The other, PalTel, announced shortly after that all telecom services in the Gaza Strip have been cut off, according to CNN.
