Joe Jonas claims he’s not putting ex-wife Sophie Turner ‘on blast’ with new music: ‘Not trying to come for anyone’

Joe Jonas isn’t airing his dirty laundry with ex-wife Sophie Turner following their divorce.

The “Cake by the Ocean” singer got candid about the “therapeutic” process of making his forthcoming solo album, “Music for People Who Believe in Love,” following his split from the “Game of Thrones” alum last year.

“It was scary at times, and also freeing,” he told Billboard in an interview published Monday.

“I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast. I have a beautiful life that I’m grateful for.”

“I’ve got two beautiful kids,” he continued, referring to daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, whom he shares with Turner.

“I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that — but also, the journey to get here,” Jonas added.

The 35-year-old pop star recently described the album, which will be released Oct. 18, as his “most personal music” yet.

During an appearance on the “Therapuss” podcast last month, the Jonas Brothers member said he felt an emotional pull “to work on music” without a clue of where it would lead him.

Joe received the green light from his brothers while Kevin Jonas filmed Season 3 of “Claim to Fame” and Nick Jonas shot a movie earlier this year.

“So I had the window of time, and I locked myself away,” he said. “We made an album in two to three weeks. I’m just really excited. It’s the most personal music I have ever put out.”

In May, Joe took to TikTok to tease one track from the album, which alluded to his separation from the “Dark Phoenix” actress.

“Come on, Joe, you got so much more to be grateful for / Stop being sad because you’re making the room uncomfortable / OK I get it / I know you’re feeling so miserable / Sometimes I wish I had powers to be invisible,” the father of two sang.

“Even baddies get saddies, and that’s the hardest truth / Called your mommy and daddy, they don’t know what to do.”

Joe filed for divorce from Turner in September 2023 after four years of marriage.

In May, the “Joan” star addressed the split, telling British Vogue she was “unhappy with the way everything played out” but she and Joe are “doing the best” they can for their children.

Turner has since moved on with new beau Peregrine Pearson, while Joe was romantically linked to model Stormi Bree and actress Laila Abdallah.
