Colin Jost isn't bothered by his wife Scarlett Johansson's line of work.

In an interview with The New York Times published on July 13, the comedian, 42, opened up about being on set of the 2024 movie Fly Me to the Moon, which featured Johansson, 39, and Channing Tatum, 44, as romantic interests.

When asked if got jealous watching his wife — who he’s been married to since 2020 — and Tatum interact while shooting the movie, he said, "I think if I was, at this point, I’d be in trouble."

"When Scarlett won the American Cinematheque Award, we were there and one of the things that night was a whole montage of kisses," he continued. "I was like: 'OK, there you go. I’m glad someone put it together in one package.' "

The interviewer told Jost that the Black Widow star referred to their relationship as "a delicate ecosystem," to which he joked, "She was just filming Jurassic Park, so she’s thinking of everything in terms of delicate ecosystems."

Jost and Tatum were not the only people on set of the new romantic-comedy paying attention to Johansson. Director Greg Berlanti told the outlet that other professionals on set, ranging from engineers to movie crew members, would have their eyes on the actress as she walked on set.

"They’re literally building a rocket behind us,” the director said. "It’s like, 'Guys, there’s a rocket going off the other way.' It’s very hard for someone to be at NASA, where there are these giant structures around everybody, and still be the main attraction."

However, when Johansson steps off the movie set, Jost insists that she does "normal stuff."

"She goes to the supermarket. She’s just very good at wearing a hat and she keeps moving. She is able to stay a little under the radar, but she’s able to do all these everyday things and enjoy them, too," he said, also noting that she’s "a great mom."

Fly Me to the Moon was released in theaters on July 12 and follows the relationship between a NASA director in charge of the Apollo 11 moon landing and a marketing specialist.
