#BSPDiscussionPaper This paper develops a model to estimate the elasticity of short-term market rates to central bank reserves and to identify different reserve conditions (i.e., scarce, ample, and abundant). The findings of the study reveal that, throughout the study period, Philippine banks have maintained a generally ample level of reserves over time.
